EVA Portal- Users Roles and Permissions

EVA System Users Roles and permissions guidelines

This article outlines the two types of user roles within the EVA System - Basic and Clinical Admin, and explains the User Management permission, which can be granted to either role.

User Roles in the EVA System

The EVA System includes two user roles: Basic User and Clinical Admin User. Both roles allow users to create exams using the EVA Device. The key difference lies in the level of access within the EVA Portal.

Basic User: Can create an exam using the EVA Device. In the EVA Portal, Basic Users can view, edit, delete, and export only their own exams.

Clinical Admin User: Has all the permissions of a Basic User. In addition, Clinical Admin Users have full access to all exams within the organization's EVA account, including those created by other users.

As Clinical Admin Users have access to all patient information collected by the EVA System, assign this role only to authorized personnel who are permitted to view all patient data within the organization.

User Management permissions

Users with User Management permission are responsible for managing user accounts within the EVA System. This permission can be granted to any user, whether Basic or Clinical Admin.
Because this role involves controlling access to sensitive data and assigning user roles, it should only be granted to trusted individuals.

Users with User Management permissions can:

  • Create new user accounts
  • Deactivate users
  • Assign roles (Basic or Clinical Admin)
  • Customize user profiles

This permission ensures efficient user management while maintaining control over organizational access.

This level of access should be granted only to trusted individuals, as it involves controlling access to sensitive data and assigning roles.
