What is a Clinical Scenario
Clinical Scenario is a predefined input fields and user flow through the App with a specific defined report depending on the type of procedure that is being performed. User can have multiple Clinical Scenarios

EVA Colposcopy
The EVA Colposcopy model is designed to be used in the visual inspection of the cervix as part of routine cervical cancer screening, by a trained Colposcopist. The software is designed to follow ASCCP guidelines for documenting a colposcopy procedure.
In the EVA Colposcopy clinical scenario, users can enter details of a patient present and past illness.
EVA Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA)
The EVA Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) model is designed for users performing Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) as a form of primary cervical cancer screening. The designated clinical scenario software includes suitable documentation fields for the performance of VIA along WHO guidelines. Prior to starting image capture, users are prompted to enter additional details about the patient and their history of illness.
EVA Sexual Assault Forensics Examination
The EVA Sexual Assault Forensics Examination model is designed to be used in the recording of visual evidence in the course of a sexual assault forensic exam by a trained practitioner. When documenting patient injury with the EVA SANE model, users are prompted to add additional case details prior to capturing images.
Clinical Scenarios Fields
EVA Colposcopy Fields
Add additional details. In the EVA Colposcopy clinical scenario, users can enter details of patient present and past illness once the basic patient identifying information has been entered by tapping on 'Add additional details'.
You can enter the following information:
- HPV status
- Date of last Pap/HPV test
- Pap result
- Previous cervical biopsy taken
- Previous cervical biopsy details
- Previous cervical ablative or surgical procedure
- Previous cervical ablative or surgical procedure details
None of the fields are mandatory.
Add clinical impression. Once you have completed the image capture, you will be prompted to document your colposcopy impression. To finalize the documentation, tap on 'Add clinical impression' and enter your clinical impression.
The following fields can be entered:
- Cervix visibility
- SCJ visibility
- ECC performed?
- Vascular changes
- Acetowhite changes
- Lugol's changes
- Satisfactory colposcopy
- Colposcopic impression
- Notes (this field allows you to record free notes.)
None of the fields are mandatory.
EVA Sexual Assault Forensics Examination Fields
Add additional details. When documenting patient injury with the EVA SANE model, users are prompted to add additional case details prior to capturing images, by tapping on 'Add additional details'.
You can enter the following information:
- SANE examiner
- Time of patient arrival
- Day of Patient arrival
- Time of call to SANE
- Day of call to SANE
- Time of SANE arrival
- Day of SANE arrival
- Date of assault
- Time of assault
- Location of assault
- Patient was admitted (y/N)
- Admission notes
- Advocate called (Y/N)
- Advocate name
None of the fields are mandatory.
Add clinical impression. After images have been captured, the users have the option to add additional case notes, by tapping on ‘Add clinical impression’.
The following fields can be entered:
- Complete DFSA
- Complete forensic kit
- Kit location
- Kit badge number
- STI prophylaxis
- HIV PEP
- Pregnancy prophylaxis
- Chief complaint
- Interpretation of anal-genital findings
- Needs further consultation/investigation (Y/N)
- Equipment decontaminated
- Notes
- Initials for signature
